Additives

In order to increase the properties of rubber products to achieve product requirements of the environmental conditions, reduce the proportion of rubber products, reduce manufacturing costs and to facilitate processing, a variety of rubber additives will be added to the formula to meet the product demand. The main additives are filler, plastic agent, active agent, accelerating agent, sulfur agent, antioxidant and other additives.

Filler:
Carbon black and non-carbon black, can increase the hardness, tensile strength, wear and tear of rubber products. The impact of the above factors depends on filler's particle size and particle surface area. Non-carbon black includes calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate, talc, barium sulfate, kaolin, etc..

Plastic agent:
Mixing the plastic agent with the rubber raw material can facilitate processing and increase products flexibility.

Active agent:
Active agent and accelerating agent used together can increase the curing rate and maximize effectiveness. Zinc oxide and stearic acid are two major active agents.

Accelerating agent:
Accelerating agent increases the curing rate and improve the product properties.

Sulfur agent:
Sulfur agent enables the chemical reaction of rubber mixture.

Antioxidant:
Antioxidant can slower the deterioration of rubber products.

Other additives:
Other additives with specific purpose includes foam, blockers, stain, deodorizing agent, etc.
